Dear Dog Wellness LLC ("Dear Dog Wellness," "we," "us") runs deardogwellness.com. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it and the choices you have. We keep it short because we collect very little.
What we collect
When you join our list, we collect:
- Your email address, which is required to join.
- Your answers about your dog: coat type and the coat concern you'd fix first. These are optional.
We don't ask for your name, address, payment details or anything else at this stage.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Our website itself doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers.
How we use it
- To email you about Everyday Silk's launch and other Dear Dog Wellness news.
- To understand which coat types and concerns matter most, so we can develop and test our products with them in mind.
We don't sell, rent or trade your information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Who helps us
We use a small number of service providers that process information on our behalf:
- Kit stores our email list and sends our emails. Kit may record whether an email was opened or a link was clicked.
- Netlify hosts this website.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site. Your browser connects to Google's servers to load them, which shares your IP address with Google.
These providers are based in the United States. If you're visiting from outside the US, including the EU or UK, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
Your consent and choices
You join our list by choice, and we ask you to confirm your email before sending you anything else. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.
You can also email us to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. If you're in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your information, to receive a copy of it, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
How long we keep it
We keep your information while you're on our list. If you unsubscribe, we stop emailing you. If you ask us to delete your information, we'll remove it from our list.
Children
Our website and list are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll let subscribers know by email.
